A team comprising of Hong Kong designers Sonia Lui, Linus Kung and Dennis She, mentored by James Law launches MORPHEUS – An Architect’s Tool
Architects often have to visit construction sites and work with contractors/engineers in order to have a better perspective on their projects. However, construction site is never the ideal working environment due to the lacking of furnishing. Inspired by architect’s drawing tube, the team have designed MORPHEUS, a portable base for architect teams to set up their workstation quickly with site-found objects as table top.
Organised by the Hong Kong Furniture and Decoration Trade Association and sponsored by Create Hong Kong of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Project HKUK is a collaboration between UK and HK furniture designers to promote HK design talent.
