ABOUT Company Cybertecture is the world acclaimed design and build company founded by architect James Law, known for its use of AI in design to produce ground breaking projects in architecture, interior design, masterplanning, technology, industrial design and digital spaces with a unique forward thinking theme. Headquartered in Hong Kong, and working internationally, the company has completed projects of wide range of types and complexity ranging from smart cities to high rise buildings, modular constructions to concrete pipe housing, environmental sensing technologies to metaverses on four continents, including Hong Kong, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Moscow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Beijing, Shanghai and others. Cybertecture is a registered architecture practice of Royal Institute of British Architects, Hong Kong Institute of Architects, American Institute of Architects and The Association of Architectural Practices in Hong Kong. ABOUT Philosophy Cybertecture believes that design is infinity, and that the basis of all true design is reinvention of the what we are now. AI and man beings limitless design creativity to reinvent everything. The challenges facing humanity is the need to urbanise billions of people in the eons to come, so cities need to be reimagined for the future for the survival of mankind, Reformatting a brave new world through design can deliver a new DNA to a next generation society that will be decentralised and AI driven. New possibilities of living with the metaverse will need design to reprogram our built spaces to merge both the metaverse and reality seamlessly. To be more efficient, modular will be everywhere, and construction will be re-engineered to be built using modular building blocks that forms the pixels of smart structures. Reinventing housing to rehouse billions who either have no shelter or are homeless, inside ultra smart solutions. Compressing time and space on our planet through design will recalculate our lives, and enable a more open planet for all. Creating marvels, that reinspire generations into the future. Enabling ultra humans that revitalise through design and technology through innovation to accelerate the evolution of humans. This is Cybertecture
ABOUT Our Founder’s Story James Law knew he wanted to be a designer and architect from the age of seven when he watched the “Fountainhead Movie”. At a young age, James was precocious drawer and passionate about science and technology, drawing great inspiration from science fiction and engineering. James studied architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London, mentored by Peter Cook, and also trained under Itsuko Hasegawa in Tokyo. In 2001, James started Cybertecture as a vehicle to design infinitely blending fields of architecture and technology in a purposeful way to impact the world positively. James was recognised by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader, and by the Hong Kong SAR Government as a Justice of the Peace for his efforts to improve the world through design. James' dreams are to house 1 billion people who are homeless; to build Cybertecture projects in every country in the world; and to construct cities in space that can be a new home for humankind.
