Cybertecture designed and built a high-tech mobile shelter “ArtPod” in Oil Street Art Space, Art Promotion Office. The ArtPod offers a futuristic interior with a modern flexible open plan space featuring monocoque structure without columns, vast glazing and skylight for maximizing natural lighting.
ArtPod is a MiC (Modular Integration Construction) unit manufactured out of aluminium, making it both strong and light, enabling ArtPod to be easy to transport and deploy.
ArtPod is used as an exhibition and multipurpose venue to provide a space to inspire greater imagination at Oil Street. The space is to develop a community leisure space and a cultural landmark, and open to host a wide variety of art exhibitions and public participation activities in ArtPod.
